Homemade Amish Cranberry Sauce recipe
3 cups fresh or frozen cranberries
2/3 cup sugar
1 cup water
1 teaspoon ground cardamom
1 teaspoon cinnamon1. Place all the ingredients in saucepan. Mix them and bring to boil. Lower the heat and cook for 5 to 10 minutes.
2. If you like liquid sauce with whole berries cook for 5 minutes. Or just continue to cook until it becomes thicker for more uniform and a jam like texture.
3. Store leftovers in airtight container for up to 3 weeks in refrigerator. Enjoy cold or warm.
